I’m a mother of a son with severe disabilities who inspires all of the work that I do and a strong willed 2 year old who humbles me daily.
I previously owned a mobile FEES company that serviced over 100 skilled nursing facilities across 4 states. I sold that company and donated all of the proceeds to the Lovebug Fund, a non profit organization that helps children with severe disabilities.
I am a big visionary and have goals and dreams to make the world a better place for patients to get the rehabilitative outcomes that they desire by inspiring health care providers and therapists to seek out knowledge and mentorship.

So rarely do you get to embrace and endorse a text that is truly for patients and comes from the soul…-Giselle Carnaby, M.P.H, Ph.D., SLP-CCC, FASHA, HONORS
“...This book helps detail what is available in the evaluation and care of patients with swallowing, what patients/families should look for or avoid, and where to find resources. More importantly, this information is offered to the reader in an easy to digest, understandable format! Kudos to Theresa for offering us an essential resource.”"
BEST SLP PODCAST OUT THERE!-LilyReign132
I’m currently in my senior year of my undergrad, applying to grad schools and with covid, it’s been especially hard to stay motivated in the major since everything is remote for me atm. I decided to listen to this podcast on a whim, and the amount of passion and helpful advice brought to the table made me once again fall in love with what I’ll be doing in the future. You guys are AMAZING!
Theresa makes Dysphagia Sexy...nothing we ever thought possible in grad school -KissMyBook
After grad school, I took some time off with my young children. I am currently knee deep as a CF in a pediatric clinic, but was wanting to stay current in the swallowing field. Theresa has made this possible! Even though pediatric language and speech is currently my jam, I am able to continue to receive EVIDENCE BASED information during my commute. I always knew research was important, but Theresa has literally helped me fall in love with it. Thanks for keeping me company and filling the world with Evidence Based goodness.
